| The grapes for this wine
come from the lower Orange River, where they are trained on an overhead
trellis system. In this way teh grapes are exposed to just the right amount
of sunshine, whilst being far enough off the ground to stay cool. The
grapes are handpicked. A short period of less contact gives this Colombar
the stucture and complexity more commonly associated with some of the
more noble grape varieties. |
