We recently had the pleasure of enjoying the unique culinary creations of the rising stars in the One&Only Reaching for Young Stars 2016 competition. Eight of the most prominent culinary schools in the Western Cape were matched with well-respected wineries to produce a food and wine pairing that would wow the judges. The judging panel was headed up by Chef Reuben Riffel.
A sommelier competition ran alongside the chef competition. Stellar was pleased to work with the extremely professional and talented team from The Hurst Campus. The young chefs, Lukas and Andrew, along with sommelier Amy, performed to perfection! We can’t wait for the results to be announced on 3 November 2016.
