Stellar Organics No-Added-Sulphur Shiraz 2015 walked off with the honours in the Shiraz category at the 2016 Old Mutual Trophy Wine Awards.

What started off as very much a niche range of wines (organic, no-added-sulphur, Fair Trade) has landed firmly in the mainstream with the prestigious Best Shiraz on Show trophy award.

Our no-added-sulphur wines are made from organically-grown grapes. NSA wines do not have

sulphur dioxide added at any stage of the winemaking process. However, some yeast strains produce sulphur during fermentation and it’s possible for an NSA wine to contain a minute amount of natural sulphur.

It’s taken a large dollop of self-belief and continual fine-tuning on the part of Stellar’s wine-making team to bring a no-added-sulphur (NSA) wine to this point, but the effort is clearly paying off. Our NSA wines have a devoted following in the European, UK and US markets and plenty of fans in South Africa as well.
