The Madeleifie Makietie music festival brought some of South Africa’s best musical talent to the Namaqualand - and for a good cause. The event featured music legends like Dr. Victor & The Rasta Rebels, Kurt Darren and Karen Zoid, and many more. All proceeds have gone towards uplifting schools in the area.

The Stellar Winery stall was a source of great fun for festivalgoers, and a source of great pride for us. We served a selection of wine cocktails made with our much loved Live-A-Little wines, the perfect fit for a feel-good event like Madeliefie Makietie. They were a hit!

Our Head Winemaker, Klaas Coetzee, was interviewed by KykNET’s Fiesta, and can be seen chatting about organic winemaking above.

Our red wines were quite popular, and we were delighted to have so many customers coming to ask for our No-Sulphur-Added wines, which are certainly gaining popularity.
